OptiPlex GX620 – Windows 7 64 Bit

Donations

£1.00

It is not advised to spend too much money upgrading this over a decade 2007 system, as it is cheaper to purchase a more capable Second Hand Business Desktop than a new OS License. This PC can run Windows 7 64 Bit borderline. It’s processor does not pass Windows 10 64 Bit requirements.

  1. How can I get the SATA Driver for this? I want to install Windows 7 on the OptiPlex GX620. Thanks in advance.

    1. I have Windows 10 32-bit installed on mine and everything works and runs very well. I haven’t tried 64-bit but the system is limited to 4GB of RAM so there’s no reason to (and it would run slower anyway).
