Note if Office 2010 Service Pack 2 is installed before Microsoft Office Product Activation, you may need to launch an Office Application as an administrator from the program files or program files (x86) folder such as Word otherwise you may come up with an error.
I prefer to use the WSUS Offline Update to patch Office 2010 fully.
