1. Updating from Windows 7 SP1 to Windows 10 TH2 via Windows Update
Note Windows 7 English UK will automatically update to Windows 10 English US. Its recommended to use the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to prevent this.
Instructions will be identical for Windows 8.1. Do not update if you are using a Windows 8.1 Single Language Edition as it will update to the wrong Edition of Windows 10. Use the Media Creation Tool.
