It appears with the new SMBIOS Version of 3.0 that Dell have substantially updated the user interface of their UEFI BIOS Setup akin to Settings in Windows 10. Here is my new XPS 9365 vs an older OptiPlex 7010.

I have a Dell XPS8500 which I bought in March 2013. Now I got a message from Dell support that there are a new version of BIOS – A13. I upgraded my Win 8.1 Pro x 64 (originally Win 8 Pro OS crashed and made clean install Win 8.1) to Win 10 x 64. Is it make sense to install a new version of BIOS? I did not find neither any new features no list of bugs fixed. Thanks
You won't have an SMBIOS update (and hence no new user interface) with the BIOS Update.
A13 however is updated to the latest CPU microcode to address CVE-2017-5715 and associated Intel Reboot issue and you should install the update:
